DEER MANAGEMENT
BH Environmental undertake Deer Management for all six species of UK deer. It’s important to note that with no natural predators the UK deer population have spiralled to unprecedented numbers. This is causing issues in both rural and urban environments.
Un-managed deer especially the herding species can cause huge damage to arable crops on farms and vegetable market gardens. Deer are also problematic with regards to woodland and forestry management and cause significant damage to newly coppiced areas and planation’s of new trees. There is a marked increase in both urban and rural areas of Road traffic incidents involving Deer.
BH Environmental Services undertake deer management on thousands of acres in the southeast and staff hold both DMQ levels one and two along with advanced Deer management qualifications. Staff are full FAC (Firearms certificate holders) and we are licenced by the local Authority and produce venison for the public and businesses alike.
